Creative sessions at your own pace

Every child should feel seen, supported and able to express themselves, in a way that feels comfortable to them.

A person in headphones uses a tablet in a calm, softly lit room while an instructor waits patiently nearby.

Who it is for

Children with autism or sensory sensitivities, and the families who know that loud rooms and rigid schedules are not always the right fit.

Many children experience the world differently. Loud spaces, rigid structure and fast-moving groups can be overwhelming. Many of the same children are creative, thoughtful and expressive when the setting suits them. Open Eyes designs these workshops to be flexible, calming and sensory-aware.

There is no single right way to take part. Some children lead. Others watch first before joining in. Both are respected as part of the process, and no one is judged for how they communicate.

What sessions cover

  • Flexible ways to take part
